Wonderful Provision! (and a great answer to a year of prayer)

During August 2022, Chris Davies came down to meet us at Grace Church St. Austell, with a view to becoming our Pastor. After two further most enjoyable visits in October and November, our members feeling very much at one with Chris and Abigail his wife and felt strongly that we at Grace would greatly benefit from calling Chris to lead the church and take the work forward. Following much prayer over the intervening months, Grace members along with Chris & Abigail felt the Lord drawing us closer together and we subsequently felt led to call Chris to us.  When we issued the call to Chris, we were delighted that he formally accepted the invitation to take up the position with us commencing in March 2023.

 At the beginning of February 2023, Chris & Abigail and their two children moved down from Nottingham to St Austell and Chris was officially welcomed and inducted on Sunday 5th March. The Service was led by Geraint Richards with Stephen Bowers, (a long-time friend of Chris’s from London Seminary) preaching. Friends from Truro Evangelical Church joined us after the morning service for a joint fellowship lunch, then others from local churches also joined us for the afternoon welcome service.

We finished with tea and lots of cake and a great time of fellowship.
